Strategy workshops · Decision facilitation

Your team keeps meeting. The decision never comes.

I run strategy workshops that end with a decision — in the room, together, in a day.

What's on the table?

Four situations I get called into. If yours looks different, that's what the first call is for.

The stuck team

Too many meetings, no movement. Everyone has an opinion, nobody says the real one out loud.

One day, everyone in the room. You leave with a decision the whole team stands behind.

The big decision

Acquisition, pivot, new market. This one has to be right.

A structured process, not a vote. You leave with a decision the team carries, not one they quietly resent.

Not sure what to build

You have an idea and a budget. You're not sure it's the right idea.

A few days, your team, a real prototype, feedback from real people. Conviction to build, or a clear list of what to fix first.

AI on the table

Everyone says "use AI." Nobody says where it helps and where it quietly makes things worse.

One session that maps both. You leave with clarity, not another slide deck.

How it works

A short call

We talk through your situation. If I can help, I'll suggest a format. If I can't, I'll tell you that too.

A day in the room

A structured process built around your decision. No phones, no spectators, everyone works.

A decision you carry

Not a recommendation, not a slide deck. A decision your team stands behind, with names and next steps attached.

Lukas Sveceny

About me

I've spent 20+ years working on strategy in corporates, startups and innovation agencies. The last decade of that has been in rooms where leadership teams had to decide something that mattered.

What I actually do in those rooms: I read them. I notice who's holding their breath, who disagrees but won't say it out loud, when silence means thinking and when it means trouble. When the plan stops working, I drop the plan and follow the room. And I use humor deliberately, to break tension and then bring everyone back to the hard question.

Outside workshops I'm testing the limits of gyokuro tea consumption, or losing to my son on the PS5.

Where this comes from

Most of what I run in a workshop, I learned from the people who built it. I trained with Jake Knapp, who created the Design Sprint, and with John Zeratsky on the Foundation Sprint — among the first people in the world to go through it. The rest came from AJ&Smart's facilitation bootcamps in Berlin.

I'm a verified, founding member of facilitator.com, the vetted network AJ&Smart runs. Getting listed there means being reviewed, not just signing up. And I'm part of the AI Confidence team, where a group of us help leadership teams work out where AI actually fits.

"I met Lukas as a facilitator at Komerční banka and kept working with him for over four years, from new product design to strategy sessions. He squeezes every idea out of the room, gets people collaborating across teams, and turns the pile of ideas into next steps that move projects at rocket speed. His workshops won me over so completely that I took his two-day training — and I've been using his principles in my own projects ever since."

Aneta Hendrychová — Digital Innovation Lead, Komerční banka

"We went through two rounds of Design Sprints with Lukas on our pension savings product, which helped us look at it with fresh eyes and quickly test new ideas. That led to noticeably better digital sales results than we'd expected. What I value most is his ability to connect the business side, the client's perspective, and fast decision-making — things moved in days, not months."

Bronislav Lajbl — Digitalization & Innovation Manager, Komerční banka

Got a decision that's stuck?

One thing before you write: if Claude can do it for you in an afternoon, save your money and do it. I make sense when several people have to agree on a decision someone will actually carry. If that's where you are, I'd like to hear about it.
